Stroud Farmers' Market in Gloucestershire is a truly thriving food and produce market which runs every Saturday throughout the year.
Voted one of the "seven wonders" of the Cotswolds, the market has won plenty of awards over the years and, as well as providing good local produce for the people of Stroud, attracts foodies from miles around in search of a great day out.
If you are planning a weekend in the Cotswolds, then do try and visit one Saturday morning.
Stroud attracts around 60 stalls every week, there's usually something different each time, together with musicians and a real community atmosphere.
Before we started The Veggie Deli, it is exactly the place that we
would travel for a day out, picking up lovely food &
ingredients which are fantastically tasty. With a cafe right in the market, it's a great place to relax with a coffee and do a bit of people watching.
The trading hours are from 9am to 2pm, we are normally set up for business from 8:30am. The Veggie Deli is in Stroud two or three times a month, check our up to date market schedule on the Find Us page. If you do plan to visit us, look out for The Veggie Deli logo as you wander around the market.
We've included a map of the town, but to be honest, once you get on the right road for the town, you can't miss stroud farmers' market; it's a sprawling affair covering many different streets, just ask someone to point you in the right direction. Or, follow your nose, you can normally smell something good cooking!
We look forward to seeing you there.
