Deddington Farmers' Market in North Oxfordshire is an independent food and produce market which runs monthly, usually on the fourth Saturday (the December market sometimes moves forward a week depending on how Christmas falls).
The Veggie Deli is not currently trading in Deddington. Instead, find us at the popular Thames Valley Market nearby, in Chipping Norton, usually on the third Saturday in the month.
The market is run by the local community who recruit an enthusiastic band of volunteers to set up stalls and provide power for market traders.
Among markets in Oxfordshire, Deddington has one of the largest selections of fresh food and produce. Alongside bread, organic vegetables and various meats, there is apple juice, various vegetarian choices, two or three types of cheese and various craft stalls.
The nearby church also houses many further arts and craft stalls at the same time so there is plenty to make a Saturday visit worthwhile.
Parking is free in nearby roads, but you may need to spend a little while looking for a spot as its a popular place to be on the fourth Saturday.
As a customer there is plenty to tempt you with for your weekend. You will need to be prompt though, opening time is 9am (although The Veggie Deli and others are usually set up from 8:30am) and closes at 12:30pm sharp.
