Cheltenham Farmers' Market has up to 40 market stalls situated between the Promenade and Royal Well Road, right in the centre of town.
It runs throughout the year on the second and last Friday of each month (the last market in December is usually brought forward so that customers can stock up for the Christmas break).
The market hours are from 9am to 3pm, but traders selling fresh produce (such as The Veggie Deli) are often selling from around 8:30am and can be sold out by early afternoon.
If you plan on visiting The Veggie Deli in Cheltenham, our advice
is to buy early and then continue shopping and exploring the town. Check our market schedule at Find Us.
We will gladly store your purchases for 2pm collection (we have had many potential Customers who have been delighted to find our vegetarian food on the way into town, only to be disappointed as they walk back a few hours later to find we don't have their favourite choice any more).
The photos on this page were taken by us on a sunny March market day and show the wonderful setting with the tulips out alongside the market stalls.
We've provided a map of Cheltenham so that you can find us. Look for The Veggie Deli logo (see top of page) as you walk past the line of stalls.
As traders, we love Cheltenham as these market stalls can cope with the worst that the British weather can throw at them and give the best protection to our food.
As big fans of local fresh produce ourselves, we're also partial to picking up a few treats for the journey home and for use as ingredients in our cooking at The Veggie Deli.
We usually end up coming home with a minimum of a big bag of fresh veg from Styan Family Produce, double gloucester cheese from Smarts and a selection of bread, anything from baguettes to sourdough or rye breads.
